Horsegram Flour
A special gluten-free flour made from horse gram or ‘kulith’, Kulith Peeth is a beloved staple in Malvani households!
Prepared by hand, here at Sushé Farms, our peeth is made by first dry roasting the horse gram on a wood-fired chulha and de-husking on a traditional paraat – a very crucial step to enhance aroma and flavour! A secret blend of dry-roasted local spices are then added to the mix, before grinding to a fine powder in a stone chakki. This nutrient-rich flour is extremely versatile and makes for a yummy and healthy addition to any kitchen.
As with most things good, our products are available in fresh, limited batches.
The Sushé Farms Horsegram Flour is packed in resealable paper bags to ensure year-round freshness.
